Hardware Design Experience:

Datatek’s Hardware Engineers have designed and realized a variety of product solutions, including controllers, interface modules and an interconnection fabric for LAN switches,routers and medical devices. We have done extensive digital circuit design, PCB layout and routing; incorporating general-purpose processors (Motorola 68000, PowerPC, MIPS, PIC, Intel x86 family, 8051 and i960, Z80), DSPs (TI C5x and C6x, Agere) and utilizing several interconnect technologies including PCI,USB, PCMCIA, and Firewire.

       
     
     
       
Our engineers have employed programmable logic (FPGA, CPLD) in custom solutions for military, Medical, scientific, telecommunications and industrial applications. Datatek’s engineers have also designed power supplies and analog circuits incorporating A/D converters, filters, and op amps.    


Software Design Experience

Datatek’s Software Engineers have demonstrated their abilities to work in disciplined design and development methodologies, including Object Oriented Design and Structured Design using tools including Rational Rose, ClearCase and UML. Our experienced engineers have performed as Systems Engineers, Software Architects, Software Engineers, Designers and Developers.

Our team has done extensive coding in the C and C++ programming languages on a variety of platforms and applications, as well as Assembler. Our developers have also completed a number of projects in current languages including HTML, Java, Visual C++ and Visual Basic, as well as legacy languages including Fortran, COBOL and Pascal. Our staff has worked in a variety of SQL relational database development environments, including Oracle, MS Access and Informix.
