May 23, 2007 - Datatek Applications will be an exhibitor at ‘The World of ACIN’, at Gibbs Hall, Ft. Monmouth. The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) will be showcasing the Applied Communications and Information Networking (ACIN) Program. ACIN, based in Camden, NJ, and affiliated with Drexel University, is the only DoD-centric business incubator in the U.S. Datatek has been a member of ACIN since 2003.

May 10, 2007 - Datatek Applications will be an exhibitor at the New, New Internet: IPv6 Conference in Crystal City, Va. Co-sponsored by ExecutiveBiz and SI International in collaboration with the North American IPv6 Task Force and the IPv6 Forum, the focus of this conference will be on “Success in Building & Securing the Next-Generation IPv6-enabled Internet”. Datatek will be participating in the IPv6Live! Demonstration organized by the University of New Hampshire’s Inter-Operability Lab. May 7, 2007 - Datatek Applications will be an exhibitor at the AFCEA Technology Forum at Gibbs Hall, Ft. Monmouth. This year’s theme – ‘Army and Commercial Industry: Collaborating to meet the Warfighter Wireless Communication Needs’. Key speakers from the Army and industry will address the audience of 400 attendees. Datatek was one of the key organizers of this conference. April 26, 2007 - Datatek to Present Success Story at SBIR Conference in Camden, NJ. Michael Dazio, Director of Business Development at Datatek Applications, will
deliver an NJ SBIR Entrepreneur Success Story at the seminar 'Secrets of Winning SBIR/STTR Proposals' at the NJ Economic Development Authority (EDA) Waterfront Technology Center, Camden, NJ on April 26, 2007.  The event is sponsored by the NJ Commission on Science and Technology.  Mr. Dazio will relate how Datatek received SBIR training at NJEDA seminars in 2005 that subsequently led to successful SBIR Phase I and Phase II proposals to the U.S. Army.   For more information on the event, please visit this website: http://www.njsbdc.com/scitech

April 4, 2007- Datatek Applications, as a member of Multimax Inc.’s team, is proud to announce it was selected to support the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) contract (total value at $20 billion) awarded through Army Contracting Agency’s Information Technology, E-Commerce (ITEC) and administered by Army Small Computer Program (ASCP). -more-

December 1, 2006 - Datatek Applications was selected by the NJ Small Business Development Council (NJSBDC) for an award recognizing Datakek's successful attendance at SBIR classes and capitalizing on the training to win SBIR Phase 1 and 2 awards. It is a success story for both Datatek and the NJSBDC, who provided the training classes, professional SBIR consultants and free proposal evaluation services. -more-

Sept. 18, 2006 - Datatek Applications was an exhibitor at the Army Transformation 2006 show in Atlantic City, NJ in September 2006.  It successfully demonstrated its IPv4-IPv6 Transformer translating IPv4 packets from a legacy video camera into IPv6 packets displayed in real time on an IPv6 server.  There were many inquiries by representatives from government and industry about this technology.

June 12, 2006 - Datatek Applications was selected by the U.S. Army CERDEC to receive a SBIR Phase II award for Mobile IPv6 Adaptation of Legacy IPv4 Devices in a Low-Bandwidth Tactical Environment.  This award follows on the successful Phase I effort to demonstrate proof-of-concept. Phase II is an 18 month effort to bring proof-of-concept close to commercialization.

May 4, 2006 - Datatek Applications and the U.S. Army CERDEC successfully sponsored an all day IPv6 Tech Forum at Ft. Monmouth that was attended by over 300 participants and 20 exhibitors.  Datatek and AFCEA Professional Development in conjunction with Technology Forums and U.S. Army CERDEC, assembled many of the leading military and civilian experts in IPv6 today and presented tutorials on IPv6. Several of the presentations focused on the efforts by the U.S. Army in transitioning to IPv6 and reports from leading experts in Army programs on their efforts to transition to IPv6.  In addition, Datatek sponsored a booth as one of over 20 exhibitors.  It showcased its IPv4-IPv6 Transformer, which it developing for the U.S. Army under a SBIR contract.

December 2005 - Datatek Applications won a contract by Northrop-Grumman to provide custom hardware and software services to re-engineer a special purpose communications protocol board.  The communications board is supported by Northrop-Grumman for the U.S. Army Software Engineering Center.  Additional features were requested by the Software Engineering Center and Northrop-Grumman selected Datatek to re-design the board with new components, thereby reducing cost to produce while adding functionality and processing power.  Datatek also designed new software features after reverse engineering the old board, since very little documentation existed.  Datatek successfully ported the new software code to the new board, which will go into production.
