Portable Trans-Cranial Doppler Designed and Developed by Datatek Applications Featured on ABC's 'Good Morning America' Show

On December 13, ABC-TV's 'Good Morning America' featured an interview with reporter Bob Woodward discussing life-threatening head injuries and concussions.  Woodward himself was seriously injured while in Iraq and suffered a life-threatening head injury, which required brain surgery.  In the interview, Woodward demonstrates a hand-held, portable Trans-Cranial Doppler (TCD) imaging device from Multigon Industries, which was designed and developed by Datatek Applications, that measures blood flow and velocity in cranial arteries in the skull and brain.  This portable TCD device gives medical personal on the battlefield, playing field,  hospital or doctor's office the ability to do instant on-the-spot diagnosis of potentially serious head injuries.
The portable TCD unit is a very successful example of the ability of Datatek Applications to minaturize an existing piece of expensive, non-portable medical equipment while preserving all its essential features and dramatically reduce the cost to make it affordable to ordinary doctors and schools.
